Showers

I wish I'd taken a recent photo of the driveway. It was covered in mud and weeds and grass cuttings, and was on the job list for clearance. But today, during a light shower, we had a visitor. He didn't talk, but that didn't matter, because he was driving a tractor with an incredible attachment, the sort of attachment that clears the road! We'd thought Joel had come to visit, but, no, it was a shy worker from the Commune of Bar. Kevin went out to him and gave a wave, but received no response. The driveway is now shiny clean! We did have to go out with a shovel to hack off some stubborn clumps of grass on the lower part of the drive, but, oh my, what a gift of a visit!

The pale green water resistant plasterboard is in place around the shower tray. The shower glass is on order. The fittings are in place. As you can see, the ceiling has arrived. I taped and jointed it this afternoon.

Kevin is clearly missing the little black crosses, as he's etched some on the bathroom ceiling...

The rest of the upstairs is not so near readiness... The master and second bedroom are still construction zones!

After today's humid showers, the clouds have decided to bed down for the night in the valley.

Good night!
