Land Life #6
Hah! A stripy lawn on the 'garden field'!
The 'car park' field is actually fairly grass-less. It's mostly dandelion, clover and mint*. Smells gorgeous when mowing!
Isn't it surprising how a piece of barbed wire can 'flavour' a simple photo? There are bits of the beast hiding all over our land! Cut some out today.
Both barn #1 and cottage #2 have a bay tree and a grape vine on their south walls. The bay trees have exploded somewhat! The grapes are eaten by birds as soon as they are perfectly ripe and juicy. :(
Cottage #2 also has a peach tree, as I've mentioned. They're not ready yet, but there is evidence of insect drilling!
Made a big Scottish flag while mowing the 'top field' today. It was eventually totally mown, but I like to vary my mowing routes...
And ready to start again on the 'caravan lawn'.
*It strikes me that these are gorgeous names for triplets!
