A Bag of Misshapes
The cold, rainy day. Yes, my white wall does look smart!
Within the wood pile, we found a lovely wooden cart! It's all there... but buried under a ton of kindling.
I think this moped is past its glory days.
A wise voice today said that this was NOT an oat crusher, but some type of fruit crusher/juicer. The voice's body ventured into the condemned shed to investigate, and the drum does indeed turn around. The voice suggested that there was 'something inside'. We'll have to drag it out and have a closer look.
This tree has invaded the wall of the ruin on one side.
The other side of the ruin has decided to divulge a second bread oven!
This is a mid-section of the wall of barn #2. The piece of quartz appears to be a cause for celebration amongst the other stones, even being underlined by a shelf of rock. During today's digging, some big lumps of white quartz were unearthed. It's great to see that the walls merely echo the ground beneath them.
Every 'window' is plugged with a bit of whatever. This one in barn #2 is filled with string and lamb's fleece. Nice. Oh, and a cobweb.
Today, I learned how to 'tape and joint'. It didn't go well at first, but I improved...
Polly finds a new place to rest her weary fluff-head.
