Uzerche Architecture and Art

Another dormer window photo to help us with our task...

Uzerche Old Town is characterised by sudden steep drops to the river between the houses.
An interesting use of tiles/bricks...

Ancient emblem of Uzerche.

I suddenly took a fancy to old wibbly wobbly stone steps. We have to build some of these too. We have plenty of stone, as we have been granted permission to partially demolish one of the barns to make way for a pool terrace.

 A 'floating' piece of art!

Kevin wanted me to look, so I took a photo to be more discreet. He found it amusing that the English lady had ordered a beer at 'coffee time', while her husband ordered a coffee. I enjoyed the role reversal.
